Our Area
Situated on the east coast of Central Florida, Volusia County offers 47 miles of beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. Beachfront cities, including Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and New Smyrna Beach, offer premium lifestyle amenities featuring beautiful beaches, an abundance of challenging golf courses and plenty of water activities.

The beach and water serve as a large playground, and some of the most famous events take place on the mainland. Daytona Beach is home to the Daytona 500, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), and the summer home of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO).
 

 
 

Our History
The scenic St. Johns River runs along the county's western border and through some of Florida's most beautiful wildlife preserves. Meanwhile, southern charm can still be found in DeLand, a unique city filled with historic homes and buildings, along with an
award-winning downtown.

 
 Our Education
Volusia County has many fine institutions of higher learning with national reputations for excellence, including Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Stetson University,
Bethune - Cookman University, Daytona Beach Community College and the University of Central Florida. In addition, Daytona Beach is a regional campus for Florida State University College of Medicine offering 3rd & 4th year clinical training in specialties, including emergency medicine, at hospitals where EMPros has contracts.

With I-95 and I-4 converging in Volusia County, Orlando area attractions like Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center are just over an hour drive away.
